Recipe Name: Sonti kudummu(sukku idli)

Ingredients:
Pulungal rice 1 cup, paccharisi 1 cup, urud dhal 2 cup, half grind pepper 2 tsp, jeera 2 tsp, half grind sukku 50 gms, sesame oil 1 tsp, salt as required, curd 1 cup, asafoetida, baking soda optional.
Procedure:
Soak both the rice and urud dhal separately. First grind half portion urud dhal nicely. Remaining coarse grind the dhal. Grind both the rice separately to fine coarse. (korakora nu). Next day mix pepper, jeera, sukku, salt and sesame oil with batter. Heat oil add asafoetida in it. Pour this in batter. Add 1 cup curd and baking soda(optional). Pour this batter in idli cooker plate and steam for 15 mins. Side dish - idli podi or asafoetida podi
