Ingredients:
Raw Rice - 1 Cup (Can make 15 dosa) Salt - As required
Procedure:
Step 1 - Soak the rice for 30 minutes then grind the rice in grinder or mixer grinder. The batter should be thin consistence (like rava dosa batter)
Step 2 - From the grinned batter take 2 table spoon of batter and mix in 1 glass of water and heat the content for 5 minutes until it turns into Kanji/Soup like consistence. Then keep aside the content for 20 minutes to reduce the heat
Step 3 - Use non stick tava and pour the batter from outer ring to inner ring (like rava dosa). No oil is required, just close the dosa with a closed lid for 20 seconds to cook well. Our tasty Kanji Dosa ready.
Side Dish - The Kanji Dosa goes well with spicy ginger cutney or sambar
The dish is most simple & easily digestible, which is suitable for kids & adults. In 30 minutes we can serve all the family members, since the cooking time is very less. The dish is one of the oldest traditional dish to try for our current generation.
