Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 1 cup, Roasted Gram flour - 1 cup, water - 1 1/2 cup, salt - to taste, Tumeric Powder - pinch, cumin seeds - 1 tsp, Red Chillies - 6, Coconut - 1/2 cup, Roasted Gram - 2 Sp, Lemon - 1, Oil - As required
Procedure:
* In a bowl, add Rice flour and Roasted Gram Flour together and mix well and keep aside.
* In a Kadhai, add 1 1/2 cup water and let it boil well, once it boils well add pinch of salt and oil. Now add mixed flours and stir well and turn off the stove and keep aside.
* Meanwhile, In mixie, grind the coconut, Roasted Gram, Red Chillies, Salt, Cumin Seeds, Tumeric Powder with little amount of water in coarse manner.
* In Murukku Maker, Take a portion of the dough and put this inside the murukku press.
* Squeeze using the Thenkulal achu in a plate and steam for 5 mins in high flame or 10 - 15 mins low flame.
* Once heat has reduced, cut into small pieces and keep aside.
* In Kadhai, Add oil, Mustard Seeds, Curry leaves and grinded paste. Stir well and then add lemon juice and mix well.
* Add the chopped steamed ones and mix well and low the flame and close the lid and cook for few minutes.
* Once it has cooked well, turn off the stove. Garnish with Coriander Leaves and serve. Side dish: Plain curd
