Recipe Name: கந்திபு குடும் பொடி | Toor Dal idli upma

Ingredients:
Raw rice - 1 cup, Idli rice - 1 cup, Toor Dal - 1 cup, Crystal salt - as required, Green Chilli - as required, soda salt - pinch, Turmeric powder- ½ tsp, Gram Dal - 1 tsp, Urad Dal - 1 tsp, mustard seeds - ½ tsp, Onion - 2-3 big size chopped, Coconut - ½ cup grated, Coriander - Fistful, Curry leaves - Fistful.
Procedure:
1) Soak Raw rice, Idli rice, Toor Dal for 3 hours. 2) Grind in Grinder until Idli batter consistency with crystal salt and Green Chilles on before day night itself. 3) let the batter rest overnight. 4) Add turmeric, mix well and make Idlis using the batter. 5) Cramble Idlis and keep it aside. 6) Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add ½ teaspoon mustard seeds and let them crackle. 7) Add Urad Dal, Gram Dal and Saute till the dal turns golden. 8) Add curry leaves. 9) Stir and then add chopped onion. Saute till turns golden brown. 10) Add crumbled Toor Idli, mix well and switch off stove immediately. 11) Garnish with Grated coconut and coriander. 12) Serve with raw Onion or Oota Samanlu. Tastes good with oota samanlu.
