Ingredients:
Arisimavu-200gms Maida -2tbsp Salt ,ghee ,water For stuffing Vellai ellu -100 gms vellam -100gms Coconut-100 gms sugar -75gms Cashew Ghee Potato-2 Peas -50gms Oil Onion -1 Mustard Curry leaves Chilly paste, salt , turmeric powder, lemon juice
Procedure:
For making kollukatai Mavu add 1 1/4 cup water in a kadai , ghee -2sp, salt now wen t boils add arisi Mavu and maida n mix with a laddle n sim after 2 -5 min off the flame. Once t cools sprinkle water if necessary n add oil n knead dough nicely without lumps till soft.
For making ellu pooranam dry roast vellai ellu till t splutters thn make t powder , now powder the jaggery and mix with ellu. Stuff them and steam for 7-8 min n low flame. For coconut pooranam in a kadai add ghee n add cashews till t turns golden brown now add Coconut n sugar together n mix well wen t starts to leave water off the flame n mix them. Stuff them n steam for 7-8 min. For karam Kolukatai boil potatoes and peas now smash them well. In a kadai add oil, mustard, curry leave n onion now saute them add mashed mixture . Now add salt, turmeric powder, chilly paste, lastly add lemon juice and Coriander leaves. Once t cools stuff them n steam for 7-8 min . Yummy sweet and karam Kolukatai are ready...
