Ingredients:
Kambu billa Kudumu - powdered kambu, boiled thatta payaru (layer leftovers), coconut, red chilli, salt. Surakai rottai - surakai(chopped bottle gourd), soaked idly rice, coconut, salt, paasi parupu (soaked moong dhal)
Procedure:
Kambu billa Kudumu - Heat water and add powdered kambu, coconut, salt, red chilli, boiled layer leftovers. Mix it and prepare like idlies, boil the idlies in idly pan.
Surakai rottai - grind soaked idly rice, coconut and get the batter. Mix finely chopped bottle gourd, salt, soaked moong dhal along with that batter. Heat little oil, add mustard seeds, mor milagai, little asafoetida into that and mix this with the batter. Now the batter is ready to prepare rottai in dosa pan.
