Ingredients:
Idli rice 1 cup,grated coconut 1 1/2 cup, 2 tbls cooking oil, 1 tsp mustard,2 tsp urad dal,3 splitted red chillies, few curry leaves and salt.
Procedure:
Wash and soak idli rice in warm water for 2 hours. Grind rice and coconut together to a coarse paste with little water. Keep in a pressure cooker and cook for 20 minutes without weight. Cool it and separate into small granules. Keep a pan add oil, urad dal, red chillies,curry leaves rice granules and salt. Mix well.
Apt tiffin for night dinner. Delicious and spicy with mavadi kommu ootai.
