Ingredients:
Ingredients: - 1 cup Raw rice - 1/4 cup splitted Black Urad dal/ black gram - 2 red chilli - 1 tsp pepper - 1 tsp cumin seeds - few curry leaves - salt and water as required Additional : fresh drumstick leaves
Procedure:
1.Soak raw rice 1 hour and soak splitted black urad dal (i.e., Urad dal with its skin) for 5 to 10 min in water.
2. Then add soaked rice, dal and all the other ingredients into a mixer and blend it to a cores paste (NOT smooth batter).
3. Consistency should be moderate fermentation is not necessary for instant adai
4.Then spread the batter like we make a normal dosai with drizzle some oil and flip the adai.
5. Can also add some "fresh drumstick leaves" to the batter for more richness.
6. Serve the hot adai with ghee/unsalted butter/fresh cream.
Additional tip : We can also ferment this batter over night and add more water and make it as a dosa on the next day morning
Benefits: Very good for children, ladies and youngsters. Good for healthy bones.
