Ingredients:
FOR ADAI: 1 1/2 Cup par boiled rice, 1/2 Cup Whole Black gram dhal, Fenugreek 1 spoon, 1/2Cup Thur dhal, 8 Red chillies, 1Spoon Jeera,1Spoon Pepper, 1 Bunch curry leaves, Salt to taste. FOR CHUTNEY,: 1 Piece Banana stem cleaned and boiled for 2 min.,2 Green chillies, 4 tablespoon grated coconut, 2Table spoon roasted sesame seeds, 1 Spoon flax seed,Salt to taste, 1 spoon lemon juice.
Procedure:
Soak Rice, Thur dhal, Fenugreek for 2 hrs. Just before grinding wash the black gram and grind with red chilli, curry leaves, jeera,pepper and salt. Grind the batter coarsely. Can make adai immediately.( No need to ferment. )
Coarsely grind all the ingredients of chutney. Add lemon juice and mix well. Temper with mustard seeds & curry leaves.
