Recipe Name: Tamarind Rice uppama

Ingredients:
Raw Rice-1cup, dry roast and grind it in rava. Oil- 1 small cup, mustard seeds-1tp, urid dal-1tp, Chennai dal-1tp, ground nuts-3tablespoon, curryleaves-10nos, redchillies-5nos, sambar onion-1cup, Tamarind- lemon size , soak and squeeze it . Tamarind plup and water must be 2 cups. Turmeric powder-1 teaspoon, grated coconut - 3 teaspoon, Corainder leave -2 tea spoon fine cutting, jaggery- 3 teaspoon.
Procedure:
Heat oil in the kadai. And put mustard seeds, urid, channa dal. When colour changes add curry leaves, redchillies, onions in it. Fry it for a while and pour Tamarind water in it. Put turmeric powder, salt, jaggery. When water boils add Rice rava in it. If u want chekku keep it in the same kadai and sim the stove. Leave it till rava becomes soft. Another easy method. Change the rave mixture to the vessel and keep it in pressure cooker. Let Blow the whistle for 3 or 4. When pressure comes down take it out and sprinkle corainder leaves, grated coconut. Serve hot with mango pickle, onions, otta mamdi kommu.
