Ingredients:
Beaten rice - 1 cup,Tamarind - Lemon size,jaggery -2 ts,Salt -1 ts,Oil -2 ts,Mustard- few quantity,channa dhal - 2 ts,Urad dhal - 2 ts,Red chilles - 4 No's,Groundnut - 2 ts,Onion - 2 No's,Coconut - 1 cup,Curry leaves- few quantity,turmeric powder - 1 ts. Note: ts - table spoon
Procedure:
Soak tamarind with jaggery and salt in a bowl for 1 hour, Now Wash Beaten rice properly. Soak the beaten rice in the tamarind water and allow it for 5 hours. Roast urad dhall 1 ts,channa dhal 1 ts, ground nut 1 ts, 2 red chillies and grind it nicely. Keep this masala aside. Now In a kadai add oil,mustard,channa dhal,red chilly,curry leaves,groundnut,2 red chillies. After it is roasted and turned to brown colour cut onion into small pieces and fry it in the same kadai, Add beaten rice,turmeric powder,grinded masala,grated coconut and curry leaves and mix it well. Let the stove be in slim for 10 minutes.Now Tasty Atukulu upma/Poha is ready to serve
