Ingredients.. Idly rice- 1 cup Toor dhal - 1/2 cup Red chilli - 2 Jeera - 1 tbsp Green chilli - 4 Grated coconut - 2 tbsp Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup Onion - 1 Salt Keerai - any one For seasoning.. mustard, urud dhal, Bengal gram, curry leaves

Soak rice n toor dhal for 3 hours.. drain the water and grind with red chilli, jeera,coconut, half salt as coarsely... now add keerai with that batter and steam in idly cooker.. then split it as pittu consistancy... in a pan add little oil add seasoning items and onion one by one.. pour tamarind juice and saute for 5 minutes add green chilli, splited idlies and add required salt.. mix well until the raw smell of the dish is dissolved... now serve hot with moor milagai..
