Recipe Name: Black urad dhall Adai

Ingredients:
Raw rice - 1 cup, Idli rice - 1 cup, Black urad dhall - 1 cup (split or whole), Red chillies- 3 or 4, asafoetida - 1/4 tsp, curry leaves- few, pepper - 1 tsp, cumin seeds-. 1 tsp, Rocksalt, sour curd - 1/2 cup
Procedure:
1. Soak both rice and dal together for 3 hrs or overnight.
2. In the grinder add R.chillies, asafoetida, curry leaves, salt, pepper, cumin seeds. Allow it to grind coarsely.
3. Then add soaked rice and dal along with sour curd.
4. Grind it coarsely like Adai batter.
5. This batter doesn't require fermentation.
6. You can serve this Adai with sambhar or any chutney.
