Ingredients:
Raw rice -1 cup, Gram Flour-1/4 cup, Oil, Water, Curry leaves, Chillies soaked in butter milk and dried-3-4 numbers,Cumin seeds, Pepper, Salt, Grated Coconut, Mustard seeds, Gram dhall.
Procedure:
Grind raw rice, cumin seeds and pepper coarsely. Seive and keep aside. Mix gram flour With the seived rice mixture. In a hot pan heat oil, add mustard seeds gram dhall,chillies ,curry leaves let it cooked for 2 secs, then add 3 cups of water add salt and let it boil. Now add the coarse rice mixture and cook till it gets soften. Now add powdered and mixed rice gram dhall mixture, grated coconut and oil before serving. Note: Utensils to be used are: Cast iron pan, brass or bronze kadai/utensil Serving method: Goes very well with Pappu Char/Pepper juice, curd and onions. Scintilate your taste buds with traditional cooking.
