Recipe Name: Udhul Rottai (Split Black Urad dal Adai)

Ingredients:
4 Glass Idli rice, 1 glass split black urad dal, 1 tbsp jeera, 1 tbsp black pepper corns, 1 tbsp asafoetida, 7 dry red chilli, 3 sprigs of Curry leaves, ¼ cup of coconut and salt as required.
Procedure:
Step 1: Soak the Rice for 3 hrs Step 2: Wash split black urad dal (Don’t soak this in water) Step 3: Grind all the ingredients of the recipe in a mixer grinder into a Coarse Batter. Step 4: Once the batter is ready we can use it, fermenting of the batter is not required. Note: The batter should not be very thick to very runny, the consistency of the batter should be slightly runny than dosa batter. You can have this adai with Just pickle and curd. Chutney & Sambar is not necessary as the dosa itself has a bit of spice into it.
