Recipe Name: Tomato Idly

Ingredients:
Idly rice 200ml, Tomato 4 big tomatoes chopped, Red chilli 1 (according to your spice), Coconut 1/2 cup, Salt, Asafoetida, Baking soda 1/4 tspn, Oil 2 tbpn, Mustard seeds, Coriander leaves (chopped), Curry leaves(chopped), Water
Procedure:
Soak idly rice for 4 hours. Grind coconut, tomatoes, Red chilli, salt, Asafoetida into a smooth Paste. Add soaked rice, water and coarse grind the batter. Tamper mustard seeds with oil in a pan and add them to the batter and mix everything together. Add oil, baking soda, curry leaves and coriander leaves to the batter. Batter should in normal idly flowing consistency. Transfer the batter to idly plates and steam them for 13-14 minutes. This goes well if idly is topped with some ghee and coconut chutney as side dish. Note : Batter should be lightly coarser then adai batter. Idly will be very soft, if ur idly turns out hard, u can make them as idly upma.
