Ingredients:
For Dough: 1 tumbler(250gm) Gram Flour, 1 tumbler(250gm) Rice Flour, Salt as per taste, 500ml water. For Spice Paste: 1/2 coconut scrapped, Khus Khus - 3 tbsp, Cucumber Seeds - 3 tbsp, 3 Red Chilli, Jeera - 2 tbsp, Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp, Salt as per taste

Dough Preparation:
1. Mix both Gram and Rice Flour together
2. Boil 500ml water adding required salt and little oil.
3. When it comes to nice boiling point, add the mix and keep stirring. Once all the water is consumed, switch off the stove and allow it to cool.
4. Kneed the dough without any lumps. Apply oil and cover the dough with a damp cloth. Leave aside for 30 min.
5. Now take small proportions of dough and make cylindrical snake like shapes.(refer to the photos uploaded)
6. Steam this for about 15 to 20 min till it is completely baked.
7. Then take out the rolls and cut them into small cylinders(as shown in the picture)
8. Keep all the pieces aside, once done
5. Now grind all the ingredients specified under Spice paste into a coarse mix.
6. Take a kadai. Pour required oil and put musturd, urad daal split, curry leaves for tampering.
7. Pour this grinded spice mix and allow the same to cook for 5 min.
8. Now add the small cylindrical balls and mix properly.
9. Pour 3 to 4 spoons of oil on top of it at the end to ensure they don't stick to each other.
10. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 to 4 min.
11. Switch of the stove and garnish with coriander leaves. But this is optional.
12. Delicious Chalavarallu Pindi is ready to serve.
