Ingredients:
Idiyappam Rice flour,Salt, Hot water. Veg.kuruma Onions,Tomatoes, Greenpeas, mixed vegetables, Poppyseeds, coconut, Coriander seeds,Red chillies,cinnamon, cloves,Turmeric powder,ginger,garlic, Bayleaf.
Procedure:
1.Dry roast the rice flour to medium heat. 2.Add Hot water to the rice flour to make dough.Let it be in Chapati dough consistency. Leave for 10 mins. 3.Take murukku peeta with ompodi blade.Make Idiyappam in the idiyappam plate or idli plate and steam it for 7 to10 mins. Yummy and soft idiyappam is ready to have..😋😋 Veg.Kuruma 1.Onions,Tomatoes and mixed vegetables are required to be chopped into small pieces . 2.Grind the following ingredients to paste. Poppyseeds,Grated coconut,Corianderseeds, Red chillies,Ginger,Garlic ,Cloves,Cinnamon,Turmeric powder. 3.Heat ghee and oil in a pressure pan.Add bayleaf.Fry onions Tomatoes .Add the paste and fry until the oil separates. 4.Now add the chopped veggies.Add enough water.Adjust salt and add little jaggery .Close the lid and allow 3 whistles. 5.Garnish with coriander leaves. It is a perfect match to Idiyappam.Goes well also with chappathi and poori.
