Recipe Name: Green Gram Thengai Milagai Podi Idli

Ingredients:
Ingredients Green gram dal - 1cup, idly rice - 1 cup, fenugreek seeds - few, thengai Milagai Podi, Salt, oil
Procedure:
Receipe ✨Soak 1:1 ratio green gram dal and rice,1 tsp fenugreek seeds for 3 hours. ✨Grind into fine paste. Cover it with lid and ferment it for 8 hrs. ✨Let's start with Thengai Milagai Podi.....Dry roast 1/2 cup coconut powder till light brown. ✨Dry roast 2 tsp each Channa dal, urad dal on slow flame till golden brown. ✨Dry roast 7-8 chillies till crispy. ✨Dry roast 1 tsp sesame seeds till they crackle. ✨Assemble all ingredients. 10 gms imli,required salt,1/2 tsp hing and rest roasted ingredients. ✨Grind into fine powder. Thengai Milagai Podi is ready. You can store it for a longer time. ✨Now for idli add required salt to fermented idli batter. ✨Put spoon by spoon idli batter in greased button idli mould. ✨Steam idlis for 10min. ✨Let's start with tempering heat 2 tsp butter+ 1 tsp oil in a wok, add cumin seeds & few curry leaves. ✨Add 2 tbsp of Thengai Milagai Podi & steamed button idlis in the wok. ✨Mix it well till at the masalas are coated to idlis. Serve as breakfast food with chutney.
