Ingredients:
Previous day's boiled rice soaked, shallots, green chillies, curry leaves, omam, curd chilly, urad dhal, bengal gram dhal, salt.
Procedure:
Ulligedda Annam Recipe: Previous day's boiled rice soaked in water overnight. In a pan, add gingely oil. Fry curd chilly(varukai), omam, mustard seeds, urad dhal, bengal gram dhal, curry leaves, chopped shallots, previous day's soaked boiled rice, Annam pindi (whole urad dhal, black chick pea, horse gram separately roasted and powdered) and salt for taste. Make it small to big balls as per your wish before serving. Neeraagaaram: Aatru neer vaadham pokkum, arivu neer pitham pokkum, sotru neer ivai irandaiyum pokkum. Previous day's boiled rice soaked in water overnight to enhance multiplication of more vitamins. Add some chopped shallots, chopped green chillies, crushed curry leaves, salt to taste. Mix well with hands until the rice is mashed. Lastly add buttermilk and corriander leaves to serve.
