Recipe Name: Puluvu & Thevu Amarthabellam

Ingredients:
Puluvu Amarthabellam Ingredients Raw Rice - 1cup,Water - 4cups,Grated Coconut - 1cup,Groundnuts(Peel d skin & make it into 2)- few,Green chillies - 3,Big Onion -1,Jaggery - 1/4cup,Tamarind juice - 2tbsp,Salt - as required Theevu Amarthabellam Ingredients Raw Rice - 3cups,Moong Dal - 1cup,Grated Coconut - 1cup,Grated Jaggery - 3cups,Ghee - 3-4tbsp,Cashew nut bits - some,Ellachi powder,Water - as required
Procedure:
Puluvu Amarthabella Method 1. Soak the rice for 3hrs. 2. Grind the soaked rice & grated coconut into smooth paste. 3. In a pan, Add oil + Groundnuts(Wait till colour changes) + Mustard + Urad dal + Channa dal + Green chillies(small pieces) + Chopped onion( allow to fry). 4. Then add grinded mixture & the remaining water. 5. Now to that add, salt, jaggery & tamarind juice. 6. Keep stirring in medium flame. 7. It thickens in few mins & stop when you reach the desired consistency. 8. Pour in a oil greased plate, allow to cool for somethime & cut into pieces. * While grinding use the water that we have already measured Theevu Amarthabellam Method 1. Dry roast moong dal in a pan(till you get the aroma). 2. Soak raw rice & fried moong dal for 3hrs 3. Grind the soaked mixture & grated coconut nicely. 4. In a pan, add 1tbsp ghee & add grinded mixture & jaggery too. 5. Add some water to the mixture to give dosa batter consistency. 6. Keep stirring in medium flame. 7. It thickens in few mins & stop when you reach the desired consistency. 8. Finally, add 1tbsp ghee, Ellachi powder & roasted cashews. 9. Pour in a ghee greased plate, allow to cool for somethime & cut into pieces.
