Recipe Name: Undrallu with different tastes

Ingredients:
Raw rice, Salt, Milk, Water, Channa dhal, Urud Dhal, Lemon, Green chillies, Jaggery & Tamarind paste
Procedure:
Soak the raw rice for 2 hours. Then grind it in a mixie in to smooth batter with one cup of water along with salt. Pour the wet batter in a Kadai. Add two tea spoons of gingely oil, 1 tea spoon of Ghee and mix everything untill it comes as soft batter. Make the batter in to small balls and steam it in a cooker for 15 mins. Now soft and steamed balls are ready. We can make different varieties like Sweet, Pappu, Pulupu and also in vegetables like beetroot and carrot. I have displayed 4 varieties here. Sweet Undrallu: Heat the ghee in a Pan. Add cashew, grated coconut, milk & sugar powder and fry it with low flame. Then add teh steamed balls and mix it well for 2 mins. Sweet Undarlu is ready. Pappu Undrallu: Heat the oil in a Pan and add mustard seeds, Urud dhal, curry leaves, pinch of turmeric, salt, green chilly paste and Lemon juice. Then add steamed Plain balls and cook for 5 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves and your Pappu Undrallu is ready. Tamarind Undrallu: On a pan add oil and heat well. Add mustard seeds, urud dhal, curry leaves, tamarind paste, salt, jaggery, idly chilly powder and mix it well. Add the steamed Plain balls with chopped coriander leaves with this mixture. Your Tamarind Undrallu is ready. Like this we can do Beetroot or carrot Undarllu according to the taste of young generation.
