Recipe Name: Oregano chutney (karpuravali pachadi)

Ingredients:
∆ oregano leafs (karpuravali leafs ) 20 - 30 leafs ∆ Mustard seeds - 1 tsp ∆ cumin seeds - 1 tsp ∆ green chillies - 3 ∆desicated coconut - 3 to 4 tsp ∆thick curd - 4 tsp ∆pepper corns -1/2 tsp ∆cooking oil - 3 tsp ∆ salt - as required
Procedure:
¶ firstly ,take a kadai and pour the oil -2 tsp. ¶ when the oil is heated , add cumin seeds , peppercorns , green chillies ,oregano leafs and salt (as required), add all those ingredients one after the other ,stir well and atlast add desicated coconut . ¶ stir all those ingredients well until the raw smell goes. ¶ cool the mixture to the room temperature . ¶ after the mixture cools down to room temperature take a bullet jar (or) mixie jar ,grind the mixture into a fine paste. ¶ now trasfer the oregano paste into a bowl , then add thick curd and mix it well. *FOR TEMPERING - add 1 tsp of oil , then add 1 tsp of mustard seeds -add this in oregano chutey , which actually gives more taste. ¶ finally, oregano chutney (karpuravali pachadi ) is ready to serve😋☺️ Benefits of oregano: * Oregano is a great antibacterial agent * It is loaded with antioxidant with prevents from cell damages * It is excellent source of fiber , vitamin k , tryptophan ,and calcium * Oregano is also used to treat skin sores, aching muscles, astma , cramping etc...
